- I eat processed foods--foods from a box, can or bag.
- I eat non-organic fruits and vegetables.
- I eat meat and poultry that is not free range, hormone & antibiotic free.
- I consume genetically altered food.
- I use artificial sweeteners (sweet-n-lowT, nutrasweetT, splendaT).
- I drink soda (diet or regular).
- The foods I eat have preservatives, additives, dyes or sweetners added.
- I eat fast foods or eat out regularly.
- I charbroil or grill foods.
- I drink coffee (caffeinated or decaf) regularly.
- I drink alcohol once a week or more.
- I drink tap water.
- I wear cosmetics, hair products or perfume.
- I have "silver" dental fillings or caps.
- I use detergents.
- I use antibacterial soap.
- I am exposed to cigarette smoke.
- I am on prescription or over-the-counter medication.
If you answered "yes" to 1-2 of these questions, your body is probably mild to moderately toxic. If you answered "yes" to 3-5 of these questions, your body is probably moderately to severely toxic. Anything over 5 can lead to illness and disease over a long period of time.
Just being alive in western society means you are subjected to toxins every day. That is why it is so important to make healthier choices whenever possible on things like food, personal care products and cleaning products.
